These Terms apply to your use of Kitchgrow across the mobile app, web app, public Kitchgrow pages, and related services. Please read them carefully before using Kitchgrow, purchasing a subscription, or relying on app-generated meal planning, notification, or recipe workflow features.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Kitchgrow, formerly Reciplan, a meal planning, recipe, grocery, pantry, and creator workflow service developed and operated by Amalthea Labs LLP (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kitchgrow mobile application, web application, public Kitchgrow pages, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service”.
By downloading, accessing, or using Kitchgrow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Our Mission
Kitchgrow is designed to simplify everyday cooking and kitchen management by combining meal planning, recipe discovery, grocery organization, pantry management, Kitchen Passport preferences, Kitchen Studio creator workflows, public Kitchen pages, Auto Plan suggestions, and smart cooking workflows.
Our goal is to help users plan meals efficiently, reduce food waste, improve kitchen organization, and cook confidently using recipe and meal planning systems.

3. Eligibility
To use Kitchgrow, you must meet the following requirements.

- ✓If you use the Service on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
4. Your Use of the Service
You agree to use Kitchgrow only for lawful and personal purposes. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access if misuse, abuse, or malicious activity is detected.

- ✓You must not reverse engineer or copy any part of the application.
- ✓You must not use automated systems or bots to misuse the app.
- ✓You must not resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
- ✓You must not attempt unauthorized access to systems or infrastructure.
5. Local-First Architecture & Data Responsibility
The Kitchgrow mobile app uses local-first storage for many core user workflows. Mobile meal plans, grocery lists, pantry items, preferences, cooking schedules, and planner configurations may be stored locally on your device.
The Kitchgrow web app and selected connected or account features may store account-backed planner, shopping, pantry, profile, Kitchen Passport, cookbook interaction, and Kitchen Studio data so the Service can work across sessions and devices.
Certain connected features, including account features, protected content access, web sync, public Kitchen pages, community features, recipe submissions, subscription validation, support, advertising, analytics, and Auto Plan, may require limited information to be transmitted to service providers or backend systems.
You should not submit medical records, emergency health information, financial account details, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into Kitchgrow fields. Kitchen Passport, Kitchen Location, recipe, pantry, and planner fields are intended only for food planning and kitchen workflow information.
Important Notice
We do not guarantee permanent storage or recovery of local data. Data may be lost due to device failure, app uninstallation, operating system restrictions, storage corruption, manual deletion, or system resets.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups where appropriate.
6. Recipes, Auto Plan & Content Disclaimer
Kitchgrow provides recipes, meal suggestions, Auto Plan assignments, preparation guidance, shopping support, and cooking workflows for informational and productivity purposes only.
Auto Plan generates suggested recipe assignments based on available app data, recipe metadata, planner state, and your selected preferences. These suggestions are not commands, professional advice, guaranteed meal plans, or personalized medical, dietary, nutritional, financial, or household-management advice.
You are responsible for reviewing, accepting, editing, rejecting, or replacing any recipe or meal suggestion before shopping, cooking, serving, or relying on it.
Cooking results may vary depending on ingredients used, cooking equipment, preparation methods, environmental conditions, and individual skill level.

- ✓Users are solely responsible for ingredient selection, substitutions, preparation, cooking, storage, serving decisions, and food handling.
7. Dietary & Health Disclaimer
Kitchgrow is not a medical, dietary, nutritional, or healthcare service. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, guarantee nutritional outcomes, or replace professional consultation.
Recipe labels, dietary tags, allergen indicators, Kitchen Passport preferences, and Auto Plan suggestions are convenience features only and may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
Users should consult qualified professionals regarding allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, pregnancy-related nutrition, child nutrition, elder nutrition, weight management, or health-specific meal planning.
7.1 Food Safety & Allergy Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for determining whether recipes, ingredients, or meal plans are appropriate for their personal health requirements.
Kitchgrow does not guarantee allergen safety, cross-contamination safety, medical compatibility, dietary suitability, nutrition accuracy, safe cooking temperatures, storage safety, freshness, ingredient quality, or suitability of substitutions.
Always check product labels, ingredient packaging, allergen warnings, expiry dates, food recalls, cooking temperatures, and local food-safety guidance before preparing or serving food.
Amalthea Labs LLP shall not be responsible for allergic reactions, food-related illnesses, adverse health outcomes, ingredient incompatibilities, unsafe food handling, user substitutions, or user dietary decisions.
7.2 User Selection & Final Responsibility
When Kitchgrow suggests a recipe, meal, grocery item, substitution, or plan, the user remains the final decision-maker.
By using a suggested recipe or plan, you confirm that you have reviewed it and determined that it is appropriate for your household, ingredients, equipment, skill level, health requirements, and local conditions.
8. Subscriptions & Premium Features
Kitchgrow may offer optional premium features and subscription plans, including advanced planning tools, smart reminders, recipe scaling, account features, and enhanced productivity features.
Billing
Mobile payments are processed securely through your device's native app store billing platform. We do not store or process payment card details or process payment information directly.
Web pages may show membership status, account status, or premium information, but Kitchgrow does not require you to enter payment-card details into the web app unless a separate supported purchase flow is clearly introduced.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation
Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through the app-store account settings used for purchase, such as Google Play or Apple App Store subscription settings. Uninstalling Kitchgrow does not cancel an active subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by the policies of the app store or billing platform used for purchase. Amalthea Labs LLP does not directly issue refunds unless required by law.
9. Free Trials & Promotional Offers
We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional subscriptions, or limited-time access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

- •Unless cancelled before the trial ends, subscriptions may automatically convert into paid plans.
- •Only one trial per user unless stated otherwise.
10. Notifications & Reminder Features
On mobile devices, Kitchgrow may provide meal reminders, cooking alerts, preparation notifications, and soaking or marination reminders.
These reminders are configured locally on your device and depend on system permissions and operating system behavior.

11. Advertising & Sponsored Content
Kitchgrow may display third-party advertisements, including advertisements provided through advertising networks or measurement providers.
Advertising and measurement providers may use advertising identifiers, device or browser identifiers, cookies or similar technologies, app or web interactions, approximate location inferred from IP address, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, ad performance measurement, rewarded-ad validation, attribution, and personalization where permitted.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on user settings, device configuration, regional privacy laws, and platform consent requirements. We do not directly sell personal information to advertisers.
Third-party advertisers may independently collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant categories of providers, data, and purposes.
12. Analytics, Diagnostics & Crash Monitoring
To improve service quality and reliability, Kitchgrow uses analytics, diagnostic, and crash reporting services.
These services may collect pseudonymous technical data including app or web interactions, crash reports, ANR diagnostics, device model, browser type where applicable, OS version, session activity, and performance metrics.
This information is used solely for stability improvements, error diagnosis, performance optimization, security monitoring, and product enhancement.
The specific providers and technologies used may change over time, but the categories of data and purposes are described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Internet Connectivity
Certain features of the Service may require internet connectivity, including web app operation, account sync, protected content access, subscription verification, advertising delivery, analytics reporting, crash diagnostics, and service integrations.
We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by internet outages, app store or platform service failures, ISP disruptions, device restrictions, third-party downtime, or network instability.
14. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of Kitchgrow is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to minimizing unnecessary data collection and protecting user privacy.
The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data collected, the purposes of processing, legal bases where applicable, data sharing categories, international processing, retention, deletion controls, regional privacy rights, and user choices.
15. Intellectual Property
All content and intellectual property related to Kitchgrow, including app design, branding, logos, features, UI/UX elements, recipe database structures, planner systems, source code, and graphics are owned by Amalthea Labs LLP or licensed appropriately.
You may not copy, redistribute, modify, reproduce, or commercialize any part of the Service without written permission.
16. No Guarantees
Kitchgrow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

- ✓We do not guarantee that recipe, grocery, pantry, reminder, or Auto Plan features will be accurate, complete, current, safe, or suitable for every user.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amalthea Labs LLP shall not be liable for data loss, recipe outcomes, Auto Plan suggestions, user-selected meals, grocery decisions, health-related issues, food allergies, foodborne illness, unsafe food handling, ingredient substitutions, nutrition reliance, subscription disputes handled by app stores or billing platforms, device failures, OS-level issues, missed reminders, third-party advertisements, advertiser content, external links, revenue loss, indirect damages, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
18. Service Availability & Changes
We may add or remove features, modify functionality, suspend portions of the Service, change subscription offerings, update pricing, or improve infrastructure without prior notice where permitted by law.
We do not guarantee permanent availability of any feature.
19. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, fraudulent activity is detected, abuse or misuse occurs, or security risks arise.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the mobile application, signing out of the web application, or requesting account deletion where applicable.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Kitchgrow after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie in Maharashtra, India, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
22. Amalthea Labs Platform Terms
These Terms may also apply to other products and services developed by Amalthea Labs LLP unless separate terms are provided. Additional app-specific conditions may apply where relevant.
